West Linn's Neighborhood Profiles

West Linn is known as a patchwork of neighborhoods and here I have just noted a few of my favorites.  As you take my personal tour, if can help you get to know West Linn and help you discover your perfect neighborhood, give me a call 503-495-5231.  I would welcome the opportunity to exceed your expectations.

Willamette ~ The historic Willamette Village is just south of I205.  The Willamette Park runs along with river where the Tualatin river flows into the Willamette.  The park offers sport fields, picnic pavilion, and the 10th Street Boat dock.  Historic homes are nestled in and around the commercial area that has become the hub of West Linn's urban scene.  Moving away from the historic center are other smaller developments such as River Heights, Fields Park and Arbor Cove, all within walking distance to shops, parks, rivers and trails.  Pricing in the Willamette community can range from the high 200K to 800K.  Water front property will command a high price tag.

BHT ~ Neighborhood association that is comprised of Barrington Heights, Hidden Creek Estates, & Tanner Creek Estates, but commonly know as just Barrington.  Located north just off I205 at the 10th Street exit, travel up the crest of Salamo Road's east side ridge overlooking the Willamette River, you will find wonderful larger traditional homes, tree lined streets and several gated communities within its borders.  Pricing range from 500K to well over 1M for a custom home with a view.

Cascade Summit ~ Continuing up the ridge on Salamo Road is Cascade Summit area which is within the borders of Savanna Oaks neighborhood association, an uncommon association that has been all but lost the the Cascade Summit term.  On the west side of Salamo is the Cascade Summit apartments and on the east side is the housing development and neighborhood of the Cascade Summit and HOA.  Built in the mid 90's by Renaissance Homes, this neighborhood has drawn in many families due to the schools, community rec center with pool, and of course walking distance to Starbucks.  Pricing ranges from the mid 400K to 850K.

Parker Crest ~ Bordering Cascade Summit to the south and the Hoodview Townhomes to the east is Parker Crest.  A continuation of traditional homes, though without the community rec center of Cascade Summit.  Walking distance to the new skate park, schools and Starbucks. Within Parker Crest to the east is the newest development by Renaissance Homes called Rosemont Pointe.  A step up in quality that does have an HOA that includes neighborhood pool.  Pricing here can range from the low 400K to 900K.

Hidden Springs ~ Crossing over Rosemont Road, Salamo changes its name to Santa Anita.  The equestrian names of Derby Court, Churchill Downs and the like follow thru the streets of the Hidden Springs neighborhood as it winds between Rosemont Road and Hidden Springs.  Traditional family homes built mainly in the 80's have been well maintained, and continues to be a sought after place to call home.  Pricing ranges from the mid 300K to 700K.

Dropping down from the ridge to the east off Hwy 43 (Willamette Drive) is Bolton and Robinwood

Bolton ~ Located south of Mary S Young park is the Bolton School and neighborhood.  Homes here were built from the 1920-50's and welcomed the revitalization when the Central Village market place was completed in 2007.  Convenient to the West Linn library and post office, the Bolton area offers homes priced from the mid 200K to 600K.  River front property will command a higher price tag.

Robinwood ~ Running north of Mary S Young (a fabulous park that you must take the time to visit), is the Robinwood area.  More commonly known as Cedar Oaks due to the elementary school but also the boat dock, landing and park.  A tight knit community of tidy well maintained homes built in the 1940-70s.  Pricing from the mid 300K to 600K, though River front property will be priced significantly higher.
